But the Madrid native isn't about to miss out on opportunities, he'll continue to have patience in working out the most consistent version of his game.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño missed the cut at the Valero Texas Open after having turned in a second card for 72 shots. The wind called a ceasefire and let off a bit at the JW Marriott TPC San Antonio, and as a result there were better scores. The Madrid native, in fact, was in a position to make the cut, especially after he landed an incredible eagle on the 18th (he started his round off on the 10th), sinking a putt from a little farther than 10 meters out.
