Gonzalo Fernández Castaño shot a 69 to start the season off in the first round of the Sanderson Farms Championship, PGA Tour tournament which shares the spotlight this week with the WGC HSBC Championship. The Spanish golfer came out strong on the Country Club of Jackson course in Mississippi, with very favorable playing conditions, allowing for low cards such as Roberto Castro’s for 62 shots.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will begin his short but interesting run in the PGA Tour this week, competing in two consecutive tournaments in the big leagues, starting with the Sanderson Farms Championship and the OHL Classic at Mayakoba the following week, for those who have been granted access by invitation.
