Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will be playing in the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship starting today, third tournament of the Web.com Tour Finals. It's the second-to-last mini-tour, which will be granting 25 more cards to play in the PGA Tour next season.
Gonzalo will go in well-placed in the rankings. He's not in the top 25 yet, the main objective, but he's just two spots back, in other words, he's knocking at the door of the house that could potentially give him back the right to play in the American tour.
That being said, the time has come to put it all out on the table, what Gonzalo has been doing for a long time now, to throw it into sixth gear and take hold of the objective with both hands. Anything in the top seven would earn him the card, while the top ten would definitely pave the way.
The tournament will be held on the OSU GC Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Gonzalo will play together with Andrew Svoboda and Cody Gribble starting at 6:20 pm, Spanish time.
