Turbulent day of golf for Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño in the second round of the Web.com Tour Championship. Making birdies was a necessary element for a comeback and the Spanish golfer got to work straight away. The first birdie was on the 1st hole and then three more on the 6th, 7th and 9th holes, and continued that way up to seven without making an error up until the 13th hole. His partial score of six under par for the day from the 6th to the 13th holes was majestic.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño was one of the best from tee to green in the first round of the Web.com Tour Championship in the grand finale of the PGA Tour silver division at Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (+4) did not make the cut in the DAP Championship, third tournament of the four that make up the Web.com, after shooting a 70, par for the day, in the second round.
