No rest for the weary, not even two days at home in Miami, and back 'on the road'. Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño is already in Greensboro where the Wyndham Championship starts today, PGA Tour date and preliminary tournament to the FedEX Cup playoffs.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño has completed what was a solid performance in the PGA Championship. The Spanish golfer said goodbye with a round for par, proving that his game is just as constant and on point as it was in the RBC Canadian Open, where he finished in fourth place. However, he was left with a bittersweet taste in his mouth, and a strange sensation.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño saw it all during this third round of the PGA Championship held at Valhalla, Louisville (Kentucky). The Madrid native decided to go all in, trying to take advantage of all the opportunities presented, under excellent conditions, and ended up with a 72 for a total of PAR.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño finished with a 70 in the second round of the PGA Championship in Valhalla, securing the cut in the last major of the year. The cut and even more, now that he's coming up on 30º place, definitively looking ahead to the weekend.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño's first assault on Valhalla resulted in a technical tie. The Spanish golfer started the PGA Championship off with an end result of par that he struggled and fought hard for, a total of 71.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will compete this Thursday in the PGA Championship in Valhalla, Louisville (Kentucky), a course with lots of character, host to none other than the Ryder Cup in 2008.
