Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño leaves the Rex Hospital Open as one of the 25 best golfers from tee to green of the tournament. Beyond these notable stats, more importantly, the Spanish golfer walked away from TPC Wakefield Plantation in North Carolina with good vibes.
It wasn’t his best score that day, nor of the week. Gonzalo shot a 76 in the end, with red and blue activity, for a total of four over par. He finished in 53rd place, far from his objective and expectations, although it’s not the day to be focusing on the score alone. That’s how Gonzalo put it on his official twitter account.
The other good news now that the Rex Hospital Open is over is that Gonzalo will be able to play again the following week. He’s in the BMW Charity Pro Am presented by Synnex Corporation, a new Web.com Tour tournament, this time in South Carolina on the Thornblade Club course.
