Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño shot a 72 in the third round of the El Bosque Championship, Web.com Tour tournament held in León, in Guanajuato. A score for par which left him more or less where he already stood in the rankings. He's now in 44° place, six shots from the top ten.
Gonzalo unleashed another series of incredible shots on the course. Five of them were birdies, five bogeys and eight pars. The Madrid native is proving that he can get low scores, that he's got birdies, but he needs to show more consistency in those good moments on the course. They are becoming more and more regular, which is why the vibes are good right now and will continue to be throughout the tournament. Three rounds have been played in Mexico and he's still not over par, an apparent demonstration of how solid his game has become.
This Sunday he’ll play in the last round with the objective of moving up as many places in the rankings as possible. He'll start the day off with Korean golfer Jin Park, at 9:55 am local time, 4:55 pm Spanish time.
