Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will fire up the start of the season with the Web.com Tour this Thursday. The race is on to make it back to the PGA Tour. The starting point is the Panama Claro Championship. The Madrid native will begin at 12:45 pm, Spanish time. It will be the first game to set off from the 10th hole of the Panama Golf Club course.
Gonzalo will start the season off with the one and only objective of finishing among the top 25 in the Web.com Tour ranking. It’s a long journey, although getting off to a strong start is a must, due to the fact that the re-rankings will begin soon and it’s best to be among the top golfers to be able to access all the tournaments throughout the season.
The Spanish golfer is eager to put everything he’s worked on throughout the winter in practice. The training and preparation are there and now the objective is to let it all come together and flow on the course. Note that his last two performances were in the Web.com Tour Qualifying School and the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
