Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will play in the second tournament of the Web.com Tour finals starting on Thursday. The tournament in question is the Small Business Connecticut Championship at River Run and will be held in Davidson, North Carolina.
Gonzalo is looking to take another step forward. He’s already accumulated the seven previous cuts in a row, stats that speak to the consistency the Madrid native has acquired over the past few weeks, although the final piece of the puzzle is missing, to finish off the week, to end up on top after these four days and to level out the path of return to the PGA Tour.
He’s been showing signs for weeks, making appearances among the top positions for many of the tournament holes and now the objective is to piece it all together. Will it be in North Carolina? Why not. With that old notion, Gonzalo.
The Spanish golfer will play this Thursday starting at 12:35 pm local time, 6:35 pm Spanish time. His tournament partners will be Tim Herron and Tag Ridings.
