Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will break in his recently acquired PGA Tour card this week. He'll begin this Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open, a prestigious stop on the American tour, hosting some of golf's most talented, such as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
The Madrid native player will make his debut at the Torrey Pines North Course, said to be the more accessible of the two, ready to get his 2014 American career off to a good start, although somewhat hindered by pharyngitis that did not allow for him to prepare for the tournament properly.
Gonzalo's tee time is scheduled for 10:40 (PST) together with British golfer, Greg Owen, and American golfer, Spencer Levin.
