Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will compete in his fourth consecutive tournament this Thursday, fifth if we count the US Open pregame last Monday, where he found himself just two shots away from qualifying, during this 42-day marathon that began with the Wells Fargo, three weeks ago now.
The Madrid native will play in the FedEX St. Jude Classic this week, PGA Tour tournament held at TPC Southwind, in the city of Memphis. Gonzalo will go out to play in the first round starting at 8.20 pm (seven hours more on the Spanish mainland), together with Carlo Pettersson and Jamie Donaldson, a complete game with European golfers.
Gonzalo will attempt to continue with the good vibes that he’s had throughout a lot of the time during these past few weeks, even though he didn’t end up making the cut in the Memorial Tournament. Two weeks ago he pulled off his best tournament of the season at the Byron Nelson and played again at a high level in the US Open pregame in Ohio.
