Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will go up against the Memorial tournament this Thursday, new event of the PGA Tour where he’ll attempt to keep that initial positive inertia from the AT&T Byron Nelson flowing, tournament where he managed to land his best results of the season and ended up with an extraordinary round of 63 shots.
Gonzalo excelled on the stomping grounds of one of the biggest players in history to date, Byron Nelson, and now it’s time to do it again before a golfer that is considered to be one of the best players of all time, Jack Nicklaus, whose showcase includes none other than 18 majors won and a vast array of second place trophies.
The Memorial will be held on the Muirfield Village course in Ohio, home to Nicklaus, and will once again be host to participation from golf’s elite, Tiger Woods, who will return to compete after THE PLAYERS. Gonzalo will play in the second game of the day, starting off on the 10th tee, together with Par Perez and Jeff Overton.
