In this case, teeing off on the 10th hole, he created an excellent option for birdie on the 11th, but he missed a putt from around three meters out, and right after, missed another put on the 12th from a meter and a half away to save the par.
The leader at the moment is Jim Herman (-5) and the cut is currently situated at +2, so the Spanish golfer will have to pull off a great feat if he wants to participate this weekend, because in addition, the forecast for the second round is also windy...Thus, it's safe to say that Gonzalo will clearly have to play under par to pass the cut.
