Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will begin the year 2015 by playing the Human Challenge. The Spanish golfer has already blocked off the first part of his agenda for next year, and has announced the first five tournaments in which he will participate. He'll focus more on the PGA Tour in February and March, with the objective of advancing on his card.
He will make his debut at the Human Challenge. After, he'll play in the Waste Management Open in Phoenix, the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles and the Honda Classic in Palm Beach.
The Madrid native is going after better results than he finished with last year in these four tournaments. In the Waste and the Farmers, he didn't make the cut, in Los Angeles, he ended up in 35º place and in the Honda, 24º, with an excellent final round of golf together with Sergio Garcia.
Gonzalo will work toward achieving good results in this first part of the year in order to move up in the world rankings, and make his appearance once again at the biggest events of the season, the World Golf Championship and the majors.
