Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño got off to a great start on the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The golfer from Madrid shot a 68, and is currently at the top of the rankings with a total of four under par.
Gonzalo played on the Old Course at St. Andrews today, the course with best scores due to excellent playing conditions. He especially took advantage at the beginning between the 2nd and 5th holes, with only one bogey on the forever complicated 17th hole.
A great start for Gonzalo, who seeks to replicate Tyler Hatton's success with the same rotation in this tournament over the next two courses. This Friday, he’ll play on Carnoustie.
