Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (-2) shot a 68 in the third round of the Scandinavian Invitation, two under for the day, a more solid performance than the first two rounds, but which did not help much by way of moving up in the rankings.
The Spanish golfer slightly improved his game on the greens at the Hills Golf & Sports Club (Gothenburg, Sweden), an aspect of the game with which he’s had the most difficulties throughout the week, contrary to what’s been happening lately.
In fact, his stats from tee to green this week continue to be remarkable from round to round, to the point that he’s one of the top ten best golfers of the tournament in regulations greens hit (almost 80 percent).
Gonzalo, who finished the round with two birdies on the 17th and 18th holes, will play in the last round starting at 7:53 am alongside ryan Evans.
