Excellent third round for Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (-9) in the D+D Real Czech Masters, 67 shots at the Albatross Golf Resort, five under par for the day, finishing off with a solid comeback, moving up 27 spots in the rankings.
The golfer from Madrid will play in the final round on Sunday starting out at seven shots from the leader, Belgian golfer, Thomas Pieters (-16), which means that his chances for victory are slim (starting in 17th place), but any improvement in the rankings could be significant for a golfer who is still looking to secure the rights to play in 2020 in the European Tour.
The two first thirds of the round were magnificent today for the Spanish golfer, with a partial score of six under par on the first eleven holes. Fernández Castaño has improved quite a lot on his long game, very solid off the tee, with some excellent second shots.
He’ll play in the fourth round with British golfer, Chris Hanson, starting at 11:55 am, one hour and twenty minutes before the big game of the day with Belgian golfer, Pieters and Spanish golfer, Adr Arnaus.
