Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will compete in the Made in Denmark this week, with a very clear goal in mind: the continuity of his performance from two weeks ago in the British Masters, where the golfer from Madrid finished in the top 25, his best results yet this season.
In that tournament, Gonzalo had some pretty solid stats from tee to green, and some outstanding moments with the putter in hand, managing to avoid major errors (not one double bogey in all four rounds). Step by step, little by little, he gets more and more comfortable with the changes he's working on in his swing, and now all he needs is some continuity in his competitive edge, which will, in turn, help boost his confidence.
This week, at the Himmerland Golf (Farso, Denmark), he'll go up against some difficult conditions, mainly due to the wind, so mainting his focus and patience will be key.
