Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will play in the AT&T Byron Nelson this Thursday, PGA Tour tournament held on the TPC Four Seasons course in Texas.
The Spanish golfer is back at the scene of the crime, meant in the best way possible. It was there where he turned in the best card of his career in the PGA Tour two years ago. He shot a 63 that Sunday, the strongest comeback of the day, and he finished in 16º place.
That was the last time Gonzalo officially played on this course, which is why his morale is through the roof going into it. Lots of good memories, and Gonzalo will attempt to add that to all the progress from these past few weeks, and thus secure access to all the tournaments from now up until the end of the season apart from the invitationals.
Gonzalo has yet another opportunity this week to continue to move up in the rankings in his quest to make it to the top 125 of the FedEX, those who will maintain the card for next season.
Gonzalo will play on Thursday with Tag Ridings and Stuart Appleby starting at 8:10 pm, Spanish time.
