Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño shot a 65 in the last round of the Air Capital Classic, Web.com Tour tournament held at the Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas. The Spanish golfer finished in 39º place, with an accumulated total of seven under par.
This final score, with a comeback of almost thirty places on Sunday, allowed Gonzalo to maintain his same spot in the Web.com Tour rankings and, above all, to get back those good vibes overshadowed by a rough Saturday.
His long game was just as on point as the previous days, having caught none other than twelve greens, however he managed to improve with the putter on the Crestview greens, getting more out of his good shots.
Gonzalo will rest this week after four tournaments in a row. There’s a break in the Web.com Tour. He’ll play again next week in the LECOM Health Challenge, in New York.
