Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño shot a 73 in the third round of the Air Capital Classic, Web.com Tour tournament held at the Crestview course in Wichita, Kansas. A bad day for the Spanish golfer due to the fact that he fell back in the rankings almost forty positions in a round in which birdies were the order of the day.
Gonzalo made three birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey, paying a high toll in a round to forget on the greens. His long game continues to be solid, having caught eight fairways and thirteen greens, but golf’s final magic touch is not cooperating this week on the Kansas course.
Today he’ll play at 4:20 pm, Spanish time, in a game with three on the 10th hole, with Brady Schnell and Matt Fast.
