Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño finished the BMW Charity Pro Am with a total of 71 shots on Sunday. The Spanish golfer ended up in 40º place after a round of golf where birdies were the order of business for the day.
Gonzalo made three birdies and three bogeys and will leave South Caroline without having golfed one day over par after playing on three separate courses in this peculiar pro am style tournament.
The vibes continue to be positive. Gonzalo’s golf is on the right track in order to close a full-circle week that will allow him to fight for the victory up until the bitter end. The Madrid native will maintain his spot among the top one hundred for now in the Web.com Tour and continues to be at an arm’s length distance to the top 25.
The next event of the Web.com will be in the Dominican Republic, specifically at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship.
