Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will begin his participation in the United Leasing and Finance Championship today, another Web.com Tour tournament held at the Victoria National GC in Newburgh, Indiana.
Gonzalo had to wait to see if he would be able to play in the tournament, due to the fact that at the beginning of the week he was still on the waiting list among many other golfers. Finally, the Madrid native ended up getting into the tournament which marks his return to the Web.com Tour in the US. He’ll play in the first round this afternoon at 7:33 pm, with Kyle Thompson and Scott Harrington.
Gonzalo is confident that he can continue to set the bar high from the past few weeks with the objective of placing within the top 25, the ultimate goal at the end of the year to be able to win back the PGA Tour card.
