Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will break in a new destination this year in the Saudi International, tournament on the European Tour calendar, putting Saudi Arabia on the map. It will take place at the Royal Greens Golf and CC, in the King Abdullah Economic City, on the shores of the Red Sea.
Gonzalo is confident that he can kick it into gear in 2019, once and for all. Up until now, he hasn’t been able to accumulate any points, not in Abu Dhabi, nor in Dubai, but he has patiently accepted the fact that he is in the middle of introducing some important changes in his swing to his regimen, and these things take time.
In any event, he finished in Dubai with good vibes, worked hard over the weekend, and he hopes that his efforts will be rewarded on a course that should adapt well to his game. Gonzalo will play together with Pablo Larrazábal and Benjamin Herbert on Thursday.
