Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño will compete again this Thursday in a Web.com Tour tournament. The Nashville Golf Open, to be exact, a new event on the calendar which comes at a crucial point in time for the Spanish golfer. Gonzalo pulled off his best results yet of the season this past Sunday in Chicago, a dignified top ten which allowed him to move up quite a few positions in the Web.com rankings. It was a breath of fresh air, but not quite enough to get him into the top 25 in order to be able to continue playing without having to be subject to re-rankings.
