Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño missed the cut in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am after turning in a card for PAR in the last round. The Madrid native played on the Spyglass course, needing a low score in order to make the cut. It was a valiant effort and he fought to the bitter end, but a double bogey on the 8th hole, his second-to-last hole of the day, made it mathematically impossible.
Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño (+5) had a very tough day on Monterey Peninsula. He had a partial score of +4 when the game was suspended once again for the second day in a row at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.

The bad weather came over the course just as the forecast had predicted, with lots of wind and lots of water, and the game was suspended when the Madrid native still had three holes to go at Pebble Beach.

Gonzalo Fernández Castaño did not make the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open after signing a card for 78 shots on the South course at Torrey Pines, the Spanish golfer’s black beast. Sooner or later the course ends up defying his resistance and he’s never been able to make it to the weekend at the San Diego club.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (-2) started the Farmers Insurance Open off with a good round of 70 shots on the North Course at Torrey Pines. This is the simpler course of the two that will played in this tournament, however a card under par is no free hand out. Additionally, this was the Spanish golfer’s best score yet at Torrey Pines, where he had not managed to shoot below a 72 previously in his last two appearances.
