Gonzalo Fernández Castaño will play in the AT&T Byron Nelson this Thursday, PGA Tour tournament held on the TPC Four Seasons course in Texas.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (PAR) shot a 75 in the last round of the Wells Fargo Championship, finishing in 42º place after a tough day of golf in which the score doesn’t do his game justice.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (-3) suffered through a difficult round in order to make the cut in the Wells Fargo Championship. He shot a 70 after a sensational round under extreme wind conditions, but he had to wait until Saturday to find out if he could play over the weekend. He came from really far behind and there was no other option. The three-hour delay at the beginning of the day kept him from being able to finish the round.
Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (+3) did not get off to an ideal start in the Wells Fargo Championship, PGA Tour tournament held at the Eagle Point Golf Club in North Carolina. It was a tough day at the office, a struggle with little to write home about. He made 15 pars and three bogeys. One of those rounds in which nothing seems to go right.
The Wells Fargo Championship will begin this Thursday, PGA Tour tournament held at Eagle Point Golf Club in North Carolina. Based on Gonzalo’s performance as of late these past two weeks (Valero Texas Open and Zurich Classic), it’s safe to say that the Madrid native will go into the tournament in the best condition in a long time.
The third round of the Zurich Classic wasn’t exactly what Gonzalo Fernández Castaño and Martin Flores had hoped for (-5), who shot a 74 in the foursome game and, thus, did not make the second cut of the tournament, implemented in the PGA Tour after the third round when more than eighty players make it past the first cut.
