If there had to be two key reasons for why Gonzalo Fernández Castaño (+4) did not make the second cut at the FedEX St. Jude Classic, it wouldn’t be too hard to point them out. One, the balls he shot into the water on the first third of the round on the 12th and 14th holes at TPC Southwind (Memphis). And the other, the good handful of putts from a pretty short distance that he missed, and which kept him from making the comeback.
